BOMA San Francisco Members:
Weekday Work (5/2/11 – 5/6/11): Weekday work will take place between Monday, May 2 and Friday, May 6. All contractors will work between the hours of 7:00 AM and 9:00 PM.
East Transit Center work will include pile removal activities and trenching that will continue through the end of May between the hours of 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM.
Center Transit Center work will include shoring and excavation preparation activities and trenching that will continue through the end of May between the hours of 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM.
West Transit Center work will include shoring and excavation preparation activities and trenching that will continue through the end of May between the hours of 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM. The demolition activities will include the Crusher/Conveyors operation stockpiling the fill at the site.
Demolition work will continue through the end of May between the hours of 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM on the old bus ramp, columns and footings north and south of Harrison Street including some remaining demolition activities between Howard and Clementina Streets and debris processing on adjacent parcels.
Geotech instrumentation installation will continue this week on Minna Street between First and Second Streets, between the hours of 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
Trenching on Natoma Street between First and Second Streets will begin this week. Demolition will take place between the hours of 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
Underground utilities/ trenching work will continue as follows:
Utility work on Minna Street from First to Second Streets.
Trenching on 400 Block of Natoma Street from First to Fremont Streets.
Utilities work on 500 Block of Natoma Street from First to Second Streets.
Utility work continues on Howard Street from Main to First Streets.
Utility work continues on Second, First and Fremont Streets from Mission to Howard Streets.
Utility work on Beale Streets from Mission to Howard Streets will be increased.
Detours, Street and Sidewalk Closure:
Detours: Minna Street will be closed to through traffic at Second Street. Local access will be granted off of First Street and Shaw Alley.
Lane restrictions will remain on Howard Street between Main and First Streets between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM.
Lane restrictions will remain on Second Street between Mission and Howard Streets between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM.
Lane restrictions will remain on First Street between Mission and Howard Streets between the hours of 7:00 AM and 3:00 PM.
Lane restrictions will remain on Fremont and Beale Streets between Mission and Howard Streets between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM.
Natoma and Minna Streets will be down to one lane between First and Second Streets from Monday, May 2 to Friday, May 6, while geotech instrumentation installation occurs.
Sidewalks: The Fremont Street east sidewalk will remain closed. Pedestrians must use the west side of Fremont Street until further notice.
What to Expect Next Weekend (5/7/11 - 5/8/11): Demolition of the Harrison Street overpass between Essex and Second Streets may continue on Friday, May 6 at 8:00 PM through Monday, May 9 at 7:00 AM. Harrison Street will be closed to through traffic around the clock if work continues next weekend. High impact demolition equipment will cease from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Demolition processing and clean-up will continue from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. SFPD Officers will direct access at First and Second Streets. Work may continue the weekend of Friday, May 6 through Monday, May 9 if necessary. Access to the Essex Street Interstate 80 ramp will not be impacted. Local access will be maintained.
The Crusher/Conveyors operation will be in effect in the West Terminal lot on Saturday, May 7 and Sunday, May 8 between the hours of 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
Underground utility work will continue on Minna and Second Streets on Saturday, May 7 and Sunday, May 8 between the hours of 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM. All access will be granted off of First Street and Shaw Alley. Detours and lane restrictions will be in effect.
Underground utility work will continue on Beale Street and at the Intersection of Howard and Beale Street on Saturday, May 7 and Sunday, May 8 between the hours of 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Detours and lane restrictions will be in effect.
Pile removal activities will continue in the east lot on Saturday, May 7 from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM between Beale and Fremont Streets.
