BOMA has been approached regarding our interest in creating a natural gas purchase program for our membership. Locking in prices at historic low costs for a defined period of time could benefit participating properties with greater budgeting certainty and possible natural gas cost savings. However, before we pursue such an opportunity, it is imperative we are confident that our members have a significant interest in such a program. Please help us understand your interest - if any - by answering a few questions. Your response is greatly appreciated.
Question #1: Do you currently use natural gas in your property? If not, thank you. No need to go further. If yes, please proceed to #2.
Question #2: Would you be interested in participating in a BOMA SF Natural Gas Purchase Program if it could save you money?
Question #3: Do you purchase natural gas from anyone other than PG & E currently? If yes, who, and are you satisfied with your current vendor?
Question #4: How many therms do you use per month, on annual average (understanding that it varies month to month)?
Question #5: In terms of dollar savings, what percentage or amount would be significant enough for you to switch to a BOMA group natural gas purchase program?
Question #6: If we create a group natural gas purchase program, what length of contract would you prefer? One year? 3 years? 5 years? Etc.
