At the BOMA San Francisco Codes & Regulations Committee meeting on March 24, 2010, the committee members discussed new rules for residential contractors to help prevent lead exposure. Beginning April 2010 contractors performing work that disturbs lead-based paint in homes, child care facilities, and schools built before 1978 must:
- Be EPA certified, and
