BOMA San Francisco Members:
Weekday Work (4/18/11 – 4/22/11): Weekday work will take place between Monday, April 18 and Friday, April 22. All contractors will work between the hours of 7:00 AM and 9:00 PM.
East Transit Center work will include pile removal activities that will continue through the end of May between the hours of 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM.
Center Transit Center fill and fencing is complete and is being turned over to Balfour Beatty Infrastructure on Monday, April 18.
West Transit Center demolition activities will include the Crusher/Conveyors operation and the filling and grading of the site. These activities will continue until Friday, April 22 between the hours of 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Fill and grading of the site will be completed at the end of next week.
Demolition work will continue on the old bus ramp from Folsom Street towards Harrison Street. Some remaining demolition activities between Howard and Clementina Streets, with debris processing on these adjacent parcels, will continue through the month of April between the hours of 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
Geotech instrumentation drilling will take place this week on Natoma Street in between First and Fremont Streets.
Underground utilities work will continue on:
Minna Street from First to Second Streets.
Natoma Street from First to Fremont Streets
Howard Street from Main to First Streets.
Second, First, Fremont and Beale Streets from Mission to Howard Streets.
Detours, Street and Sidewalk Closure:
Detours: Minna Street will be closed to through traffic at Second Street. Local access will be granted off of First Street and Shaw Alley.
Lane restrictions will remain on Howard Street between Main and First Streets between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM.
Lane restrictions will start on Second Street between Mission and Howard Streets between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM.
Lane restrictions will remain on First Street between Mission and Howard Streets between the hours of 7:00 AM and 3:00 PM.
Lane restrictions will remain on Fremont and Beale Streets between Mission and Howard Streets between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM.
Natoma Street will be down to one lane between First and Second Streets from Monday, April 18 to Friday, April 29, while geotech instrumentation drilling occurs.
Sidewalks: The Fremont Street east sidewalk will remain closed. Pedestrians must use the west side of Fremont Street until further notice.
What to Expect Next Weekend (4/23/11 - 4/24/11): Demolition of the Folsom Street overpass between Essex and Second Streets may continue Friday night, April 22 at 8:00 PM through Saturday, April 23 at 11:00 PM.
Folsom Street will be closed to through traffic around the clock. High impact demolition equipment will cease from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Demolition processing and clean-up will continue from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. There will be SFPD Officers directing access at Essex and Second Streets.
The Crusher/Conveyors operation will be in effect in the West Terminal lot on Saturday, April 23 between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
Underground utility work will continue on Minna, Fremont and Second Streets and at the intersection of Howard and Beale Streets on Saturday, April 23 between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Detours and lane restrictions will be in effect.
Pile removal activities will continue in the east lot on Saturday, April 23 from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM between Beale and Fremont Streets.
