BOMA San Francisco Members:

BOMA members held their first official meeting with Supervisor Malia Cohen at City Hall on September 8, 2011, to discuss several issues of current interest to commercial property owners.

The topics for discussion included: the excess number of mobile food truck permits being issued to downtown locations, the possibility of legislation mandating bikes be allowed into all commercial buildings, the need to broaden the business tax structure in town so that all businesses pay something that is predictable and fair, and the need to support job growth and economic development, especially in Supervisor Cohen's district (Bayview, Hunter's Point, Potrero, Visitacion Valley).

BOMA members also offered to be a resource for information on any matters affecting commercial real estate, and welcomed the opportunity to help.

BOMA San Francisco thanks Supervisor Malia Cohen for her time and we look forward to working with her in the future.
